There are many souqs or markets in Doha, Qatar. Some are traditional, outdoor souqs, some are modern, airconditioned and indoors. Each having their own speciality f.e. the gold souq or the wholesale souq, others have everything. The Souq Waqif (Old Souq) fills up a big area of Doha.

The Souq Waqif is open from 10.00 to 12.00 and from 16.00 to 22.00, other souqs from 10.00 to 12.00 and from 16.00 to 19.00.
