Souq Waqif in the heart of Doha lies between the four streets: Abdullah Bin Jasim Street, Grand Hamad Street, Jasim Bin Mohammed Street and Ali Bin Abdulla Street, it's quite a big area near the Corniche (Al Corniche Street). Souq Waqif is one of the most popular attractions in Doha and its walking street, filled with nice shops, cosy restaurants and coffee bars, is always packed with people enjoying themselves shopping and haggling, eating and drinking and sightseeing.
Most of the traditional handcrafted objects, incense, perfumes and spices are displayed in the Souq Waqif. This market has many jewellery, tailoring, embroidery, bishoot (men's cloaks) and abayat (women's cloaks) shops. And swords, daggers and other various goods are also on display.
The Souq Waqif is open from 10.00h to 12.00h and from 16.00h to 22.00h.
